N4N PEOPLE · GATE 21
Day one, already done.
n4n People keeps the employee record everything else trusts — onboarding checklists that finish themselves, time off on one calendar, and an org chart Payroll and Expense read directly.

DAY ONE · JUL 20
The checklist ticks itself before she badges in
The moment Ana accepts her offer in Recruit, People opens her record and its onboarding checklist. Contract, bank details, laptop, payroll enrolment, first 1:1 — each task has an owner, and as they close, her node lands on the org chart everyone else routes by.
- Record and checklist created from the accepted offer — nothing typed twice
- Every task owned — HR, IT, payroll and the manager see the same list
- Reporting line drawn on the chart the rest of the fleet approves against
CAPABILITIES · THE RECORD
Everything between the offer letter and the exit interview
One record per person
Role, salary, start date, documents, equipment and history on a single employee record — the copy of truth, not a copy of a copy.
Onboarding that finishes itself
Checklists template per role — contract, bank details, laptop, payroll, first 1:1 — each task with an owner and a due date, ticked off before day one.
Time off without the thread
Requests carry the balance with them, approvals route to the actual manager, and one calendar shows who is out this week.
Payroll-grade data
Salary changes are effective-dated on the record and queue into the next Payroll run — no spreadsheet handover, no re-keying.
An org chart that is real
Reporting lines are drawn from the records themselves, and other apps route approvals up those same lines.
Access that matches the org
Managers see their team, salary fields open only to HR and finance roles, and every change to a record is written to the audit trail.
ROUTE MAP · WORKS THE FLEET
Hired once, known everywhere
People is the record the fleet trusts about the team. Recruit hands the hire over, Payroll pays from the record, Expense approves along its reporting lines.

FAQ · N4N PEOPLE
Before day one
Is n4n People available today?
Not yet — People is scheduled on the fleet board. n4n AI is the fleet’s live app today. Email support@n4n.io and we will tell you when People boards.
What lives on an employee record?
Role, salary with effective dates, start date, bank details, documents, equipment, time-off balances and reporting line — one record per person. Payroll and Expense read that record directly instead of keeping their own copies.
How does onboarding work?
Each role has a checklist template — contract, bank details, laptop, payroll enrolment, first 1:1. When an offer is accepted in n4n Recruit the record and its checklist create themselves, and every task has an owner and a due date before day one.
Who can see salaries and personal data?
Access follows the org: managers see their own team’s records, salary and bank fields open only to HR and finance roles, and every read of a sensitive field and every change to a record lands in the audit trail.
