Channels built around the work
Open a channel per team, per customer or per launch, and link it to a Desk queue, a Projects board or a deal. The record’s updates arrive where its people already talk.
N4N CHAT · GATE 16
n4n Chat is team messaging built around the record — channels, threads and DMs where tickets, deals and deploys post themselves, so the conversation and the thing it is about live side by side. Threads resolve; noise does not accumulate.

SPECIMEN · #SUPPORT
Priya flags a customer problem. Desk has already posted the ticket as a card in the same channel. Marcus fixes it in the thread — and resolving the thread closes the ticket where it came from.
Halvorsen says their data export is stuck at 98% — anyone on it?
Ticket #4127 · Halvorsen & Co — data export stalls at 98%
On it. The export queue stalled after last night’s schema change — re-running the last batch now.
Fixed and verified — Halvorsen’s export completed. Closing the ticket.

CAPABILITIES · GATE 16
Open a channel per team, per customer or per launch, and link it to a Desk queue, a Projects board or a deal. The record’s updates arrive where its people already talk.
New tickets, board moves and won deals arrive as structured cards, not pasted links. Act on the card — assign, comment, close — and the change writes back to the source app.
Any thread can be resolved. Resolved threads collapse, the outcome stays pinned, and the channel scrolls past finished work instead of through it.
Mentions and assigned work notify; everything else waits. Per-channel rules and quiet hours are the defaults, not settings you dig for on day thirty.
One search covers messages, files and the tickets, tasks and deals posted into the channel — find the decision and the thing it decided in one pass.
Ask for a recap of any channel or thread and n4n AI summarizes what happened, who owns what and what is still open — billed per token from the same balance.
ROUTE MAP · GATE 16
Chat is where the other gates land their updates. Three routes feed the conversation — same account, same record, nothing copy-pasted.
n4n DeskBoarding
Desk posts every new ticket to the channel you choose — triage happens in the thread, and resolving the thread closes the ticket.
n4n ProjectsBoarding
Projects turns any message into a task without leaving the thread, then posts back when the card moves — the channel knows when it ships.
n4n MeetScheduled
Meet starts a call from any channel in one click, and the AI recap with action items lands back in the thread before everyone hangs up.

BOARDING INFORMATION
Anything else, ask a person:support@n4n.io
Not yet. n4n Chat is scheduled — it is on the departures board but not boarding. The only app live today is n4n AI. Email support@n4n.io and we will tell you the moment its status changes.
Fleet apps publish their events into channels as structured cards. When Desk opens a ticket, Projects moves a card or Meet finishes a call, the card appears in the channel you chose — and acting on it in Chat writes back to the source app. No webhooks to wire, no bots to install.
Threads resolve and collapse, channels are scoped to real work — a queue, a board, a customer — and only mentions and assigned work break through by default. The goal is a channel you can read to the bottom, not an infinite scroll.
Like the rest of the fleet: one prepaid balance shared across every n4n app, pay for what you use, no per-seat pricing and a $0 minimum. AI recaps are metered per token through n4n AI, from the same balance.
