Six ways it keeps the count honest.
Stock as a ledger
Every unit movement is an entry — received, transferred, picked, adjusted. On-hand counts are computed from the movements underneath, never typed into a cell.
Reorder points that act
Set a floor and a ceiling per SKU, per location. The moment a pick breaks the floor, a draft purchase order raises itself with the right quantity and supplier — waiting on one approval, not a spreadsheet.
Every location, one truth
Warehouses, bins, shops and stock in transit share a single count. Transfer between them and both sides update in the same movement — nothing to reconcile later.
Oversell protection
Checkout reserves the unit before the sale confirms. Commerce sells what Inventory says exists — a channel can never promise stock another channel already shipped.
Counts without closing
Cycle count one aisle at a time while the shop keeps selling. Variances post as adjustments with a reason attached, so the count converges instead of drifting.
Valuation Books can trust
Moving-average cost per SKU, landed cost allocated across a receipt, and cost of goods posted to Books on every shipment — stock value on the balance sheet, not in a tab.

Inventory is the fleet’s source of stock truth. Commerce checks it before every sale, Books receives its costs, Analytics reads its levels — no exports, no sync jobs, no Tuesday-morning reconciliation.

Is n4n Inventory available today?
Not yet. n4n Inventory is scheduled — announced and on the fleet board, but not open to customers. n4n AI, the fleet’s first app, is live today at n4n.ai. Leave your email and we will write when Inventory boards.
How do reorder points work?
You set a floor and an optional ceiling for each SKU at each location. When a movement takes the on-hand count below the floor, Inventory drafts a purchase order for the refill quantity against your preferred supplier. Nothing is sent until a person approves it.
Can it track more than one warehouse?
Yes — that is the point. Locations, bins within them and stock in transit all live on one movement ledger, and each sales channel sees availability computed from the same numbers. A transfer updates both ends in a single entry.
How will Inventory be priced?
Like the rest of the fleet: one prepaid balance shared across every n4n app, pay for what you use, no per-seat pricing, and a $0 minimum to start.
